Verified students and academic researchers get a SensoCAN account equivalent to the Starter plan, at no cost, for the length of their study program: 10 devices, 50 sensors, 90 days of history, rule chains, the AI assistant and the mobile apps.
How it goes today
A capstone or a thesis needs readings from real devices, a place to keep them and a way to raise an alarm. Trials expire before the term does, and building the platform yourself eats the semester.

Dashboards you arrange, rule chains drawn in the visual editor, alarms that stay open until someone acknowledges them, the AI assistant, and the iOS and Android apps.
For the length of your study
The account stays active for the duration of your enrolled program, not for a trial period. Renewal and what happens after graduation are reviewed before it expires.
For coursework and research
Capstone projects, thesis work and IoT courses. Connect the supported gateways and sensors, or a cloud-connected device that sends its readings over MQTT or HTTP/S.

Tell us your institution, your program and what you are building. Use your student email; it is how we verify enrolment.

We verify and activate
We check your enrolment and, on acceptance, create the account for you with the Starter limits applied.

Connect your devices, draw your rules and set your limits. The documentation covers every step, and the assistant answers questions about your own data.
On your phone
The iOS and Android apps are included: the same alarms, wherever you are.

Questions from students
Which email should I apply with?
Your institution's. Enrolment is verified against it, and the account is created for that address.
Do I need my own devices?
Yes. SensoCAN is the platform; the readings come from your hardware. The supported hardware page lists the gateways and sensors we support, and a cloud-connected device that sends its readings over MQTT or HTTP/S can connect with its own credentials.
What happens when I graduate?
Renewal and post-graduation options are reviewed with you before the account expires.
